It’s getting closer to that time of the year again, where Johnson Valley becomes a hot spot for Ultra4 Race Teams pre running for the King of the Hammers race. This year, Rugged Radios will be joining Tony with GenRight for their 7th annual Turkey Run, in beautiful Johnson Valley, CA.

~Friday the 29th~
Just like any race event we attend, Rugged Radios will provide free tech support to anyone needing help with radios or intercoms— regardless of who's equipment you're running. Whether you’re setting up a new system in your Ultra4 Car, or just need to add a frequency in your race radio, we will be available.

INTERCOM RENTALS!

In light of our new portable RRP242 Intercom being released, we have decided to offer anyone in Johnson Valley over Thanksgiving weekend a chance to use an entire intercom system for FREE! The rentals will include (1) RRP242 Intercom with batteries and cables, and (2) H42 Headsets. If you don’t have a radio, we will also include a handheld radio to use with the intercom kit. This is a great chance for Jeep owners to try out an intercom system like the ones used in Ultra4 cars and sand buggies. We will only have a few intercoms systems available, so please contact us now if you are interested.

*Full reimbursement of rental will be provided upon return of undamaged products.

If you’re interested, please contact us at team@ruggedradios.com . We would like to get a head count, so we can plan accordingly. Thanks!

If you would like to join the GenRight crew, please RSVP Tony so he can have head count as well. Also, join there event on facebook here

Thanks guys,

Nick is awesome! We hope to see you both on the lakebed in Feb. Please let us know if there is anything you need in the meantime.

Thanks to everyone that stopped by to say hello, or pick up some products. We had a nice time on the lakebed with friends, family and race teams!

What do you recommend for a play car intercom and helmet wise ?
I like to use a bike helmet for light weight and not sure how the behind the head intercoms would work with that style of helmet. all ready have a race radio. Thanks
