got an 86 cj with serpentine belt. id rather not fork out $145 at kilby but cant seem to find a clutch for this thing. ive been told i can find them on an old mustang (84-85 i think) and ive been told to look at big rigs with air brakes. well im having a hard time finding one. it obvious that kilby does not make the clutches they sell so does anybody know a part number that i can use to pick one up at napa or somethin. thanks
You have the right idea about the big rigs. Detroit and Cummings both run the these compressors but they are not for air they are a/c compressors the clutch are about $60
thanks for the link. i did find that info on the site but when i posted this i was at work and could not search and needed the info asap. also i was hoping since that was posted someone had found another source.
there are hundreds of places to get these clutchs. Fleet Pride, Ryder Peterbuilt, Napa, ect. Pretty much any place that you can get heavy truck parts. NEA
