Hey guys it's pretty much a done deal that I'll be pickin up the 40 in San Diego that I posted up last week. (Thanks RFREY)
The truck pretty much seems to be exactly what I'm lookin for minus one small detail. NO HARDTOP! I am hoping to find one shortly after I get it. What should I expect to pay for a semi decent hardtop for a '68? Does anyone have one available?

I've seen them for sale from $200 on up to $1200. All depends on the time of year and the condition of the top......I think there is one on ebay now for sale. Also if I'm not mistaken there was on on the PBB For Sale section. Do a search, might still be there. :skull:

There are always tops for sale in the recycler.com classifieds, one right now but too much $$$. I would get an early style(pre '75) like the one that belongs on it, the later ones are a pain to fit and not worth the trouble...

Get a 68'-75' top and save yourself the trouble of modifying everything...w/s channel, rear doors, etc. I wouldn't pay more than $650 for a premo one. I have one for sale in Utah, Zero Rust, refinished fiberglass, headliner, $OR tinted slide windows, sweet! $650...:D

The truck actually has a Bestop soft top and a bikini top. All I need to complete the package is a hard top. Those Paki soft tops are sweet though.
