: Underwater Go Pro Cam of first river crossing
I got a real kick out of this and I thought I would share. I mounted my Go Pro down low on the buggy and shot video going across Fordyce Creek. The river was running around 300 CFS according to Dream Flows. For comparison the tires are 39's.
Sorry, but I didn't see any fish swimming by.
:D

KacksterK5 08-17-2011, 08:06 AM Put mine on the tie rod once and did the same thing in a rive back here. Def saw fish look at it like WTF? U can turn it around and get great suspension shots to make sure everything's working like it's supposed to.
Cool vid

Yes....wait no it's an LS. Close though.
I've got to do something about that.
You can hear the damn fuel pump more than the motor! I just have to be cooler than that!:grinpimp:
jethrodeg 08-23-2011, 06:25 PM Your fuel pump woke me up when you guys came down trail past wh3 at 2am a few weeks ago. :D

Rural53 08-24-2011, 02:24 AM When we were looking where to mount the Go Pro on my mates son's Kiwi Truck (NZ Trophy Kart) a suspension arm was suggested. I might have to give it ago nex time he races.
Here's one of the suspension working on a NZ buggy.

Were you guys there the week of the Aug 8th? Those rigs look familiar. We got stuck on winch hill #1 behind a red XJ that tacoed his tie rod. Sweet video. I had my GoPro mounted on the bumper on the first crossing.

It works good. I just wish that the tube clamp part of it was beefier and used a larger screw/bolt. The upper half of it has a nice swivel and is plenty strong enough for the go pro but I wouldnt mount any heavier of a cam to it.
