I am using a 77 truck to look at for info. It has the AC compressor where I want to put the Jeep steering pump. Has
anyone done this?

I'm confused, why not put the steering pump where it always goes? If it's like my Vbelt setup, the compressor would go over that.

Just trying to retain the stock CJ location because of no AC compressor. But it may not be possible if all SBC PS pumps are mounted low.

Isn't the stock CJ PS pump mounted low? Are you trying to retain the stock location to be able to use the stock lines?

Bryan, after calling around trying to find brackets it looks like I'm going to be lucky to find any brackets. Found one man that has that year engine 69 to 85 and I can take off what I want for 100.00 :) No 4x4 place I called was any help at all. Now lets go get that leaking gas tank off. James

you can look at the cars also. I've been using the ribbed belt on the alternator and the stock locations of the alternator and power steering pump on the projects that come out of my shop. We have been using the stock lineset from the jeep. the pulleys we have be using are of 86?-87 newer caprice before they put serp belts on them
