I need to get some 1" OD .250" wall tubing for a traction bar and also some 2" .120 wall for a cage and I called the one place in the phone book and almost laughed at the guy on the phone when he told me nearly $80 for a 8 foot section of the 1" in Hrew?

Anyone have any good sources for the stuff? I dont mind buying in greater lengths, but not at that cost... Anywhere in San diego?

Try Industrial Metal Supply. Chances are that they will have it in their remnant pile for $.49 a pound. They also have precut 10 ft sections in popular sizes.

There is also escondio metal supply is the name i belive. Right off of the the 78 and nortal. They seem to have a good scrap selection and last time I was there it was $0.25 a lb.
