Hi guys, I am looking for a private builder or someone with tools to build a 700-R4 in Vancouver/Lower Mainland area. I would really like to build my own transmission but cannot afford the $500+ on tooling to do it correctly. Not only is it out of my budget currently, but it seems silly to buy all the tools if I am only building this one transmission. I know outright lending tools to a stranger is a bit out of the question, but even if I would be able to bring over components to disassemble/reassemble that would be great. If someone would be even willing to rent bench space for beer/cash I would be into that aswell. Even an amature night class for transmission building would be fine, but I have been unable to find one at this time.

Any ideas/help/suggestions welcome!
