Running an 96 Isuzu d44 abs in the housing rear axle in my YJ wrangler. I changed out the diff cover to a Solid industries heavy duty cast cover. I wanted to relocate the axle vent so I made a metal cover for the unused abs sensor, drilled and taped it an ran a vent line to the firewall under the hood. Unfortunitely the location is allowing diff oil to be pumped up and out of the vent line. Has anyone relocated the vent with better success? I hate to drill the new cover and hate putting a quart of diff fliud every 200 miles! Help

You may want to just drill and tap the axle tube. Fairly close to the center housing. Many dana axles came that way from the factory.

I had the same problem. I did like Chad said and drilled and tapped the axle tube. Mine started doing this after changing to a locker and running 35's.
