Since they don't have a new chef, they opted to cater dinner this year and I think the catered dinner is the only food onsite this year as a result (ie, no more breakfast burritos). The runs are all the same AFAIK this year, except that the South Park run that normally goes up South Park and down Pleasant Canyon will go up to the bridge that is closed and then back down (unless by some miracle the BLM reverses their closure of the bridge). But I'll miss Chef Andy :( I hear that I'll be leading 2 runs this year and the hike up the waterfalls in Surprise Canyon on Sunday. BTW - Chef Andy will feed you at the Kids on Public Lands event at the Discovery Center in Big Bear this weekend. 9/17-9/18. They are always looking for more women drivers on Sunday!! | |
