I am looking for some help with the steering set up.
I am putting 1/2 ton Chevy axles in a wrangler and I want to know what you all use for the steering linkages and box. Any help here would be wonderfull thanks in advance Wilseya.

Well,

I went with a front D44 and a rear 8.8 for a short while. My steering set-up involved exchanging the gear box for an Eaton short column and Cheyenne orbital valve then going full hydraulic baby. Really though, you should be able to mix and match stock components to find a set up that works. If not, there are lots of aftermarket makers that should be able to hook you up and be more beefy at the same time.

I used the factory Jeep box with a J truck pitman arm and the factory Chevy linkage

Ford HP44, waggy knuckles, reamed out the knuckle for over knuckle steering and used 1-ton ends.

Beasts way seems to be the easiest, but if you are running a SOA setup on that wrangler you might have problems with the drag link interfering with the leafs. Id go full hi steer. some sort of flat top knuckles on both sides, with steering arms and conical washers of your choice, Im going to use www.shakerbuilt.com arms when I go to a bigger front, then have a company make you a new tie rod/drag link that is much stronger.
