Just wondering how the BadLands T4T run went for those of you that were actually able to make it? Any good pictures, stories, carnage to report? I assume there was a good turn-out.... that place is usually pretty busy on weekends when there's not something special happening.

How long are they accepting toys for? I couldn't make it last weekend, but I'd still like to donate if I can make out there it in the next couple of weeks... even if I don't get free admittance into the park.

Spaceghost demonstrated to his wife the finer points of his EROCC's driving skills....

I've got a few others too...spend most of my time in the seat tho...

There was a pile of people/vehicles there....I didn't get any final numbers but the turnout looked absolutely great...for those that missed it, the weather was perfect too.

(BTW: thanks for the new cover shot for my site! :D )

I was there and had a good time. Learned once again that boredom can morph quickly into stupidity :D

I was one of the better equipped rigs in my group, and conquered the trails we ran with nary a slipping tire. got to playing in the quarry, and a rock took a bite out of the rear sheet metal of my scrambler. guess that'll teach me!! As a trail rig, I have a well set up ride. as a Rock rig, it sucks many big things :D still had a blast though, and as a plus, I got to meet the infamous SpaceGhost in the parking lot while I was tending to a wayward leaf spring.

I noticed you wasted no time gracing the opening page with my most recent attempt at "2" wheeling! I hope you got a pic that shows the rocks that I flopped off of, don't want peeps to think I can flop in the parking lot!

We had a good time!

Finally convince your wife to go along and then dump it with her side down, nice :D :flipoff2:

See you in less than 2 weeks for project big beef ;)

*edit* Hey Mike I sent this link to one of your sponsors who really likes the shot of your hood when you're on your side. Looks like you'll get home page publicity for that shot also, gotta love that Redneck Ram :D

All that wasted time taking pics with Mike's camera when all I really needed to do was ask for pictures of his wife...

Can't see for sure through all those clothes, but looks like you did good Mister Spaceghost.

That second picture has to be orange trail, nasty slimey mess :barf: Most of the rest look like Pergatory/Rock quarry.... which I will vouch for SpaceGhost; I know the place he flopped and there are some impressive looking rocks the whole way down that "trail".

Hey SpaceGhost.... when did you pick up a BFG sponsorship? I have some pictures on my desk from a few months ago, and I'm seeing MT/R's on the rig:flipoff2:

yeppers...we mostly ran around the quarry area all day, hitting the dumb stuff. As you may tell from my pics, I spend my day following SG around....tho I took a slightly different line from where he "flopped". heh heh

3 of us did Orange in an hour, and of the day, just bombed thru it. After Pink/Quarry, it seemed sadly tame...

Rolled into Farmington for the SuperCrawl and discovered they (Jeff Cummins, BFG) had a set of sticky 35"s for me. They worked great out there, and actually just as good back in Attica. I drove every obstacle in the quarry that I had previously done on the 37" MTR's. Self stacked a few rocks, but no "pulling cable", this last Saturday. Unless you count the Jeep rescue rig getting me back over! Thanks!

I know there are more pics out there, somebody snapped me in 3+' of water coming out of the culverts. Wife elected to bail for fear of getting wet! Turns out her seat attracted some cold creek water and triggered a surprise response when she got back in!

Woody is smarter than I am. He wisely avoided the line that I flopped on. Just enough to stay upright.

BAJG also took some shots and video, should see some of that in the next few days. As hard as we tried to get him on his side, we couldn't! You escaped this time, Rob!

Between Christmas and New Years BigDude will be out there testing his latest mods. I'll give him the same teatment!

To get it out of the way I will drive one tire straight up a wall until it goes :flipoff2:

Schedule me in for that weekend...got camera, not afraid to use it! :D

I made the "power trip" for this one...arrived 9pn Fri night, wheeled all day Sat, home by 10 pm Sat night...300 mile drive each way for me. Shopping for a "smaller" tow rig now, since my Lemon (motorhome) is a bit big for these "day" rides! lol

That puddle shot of SG outta be a good one....that was the second time that day I opted to not follow him thru! (what's the guess...40"+ of water maybe??)

Oh, and the pic of SG's wife doesn't do her justice...very nice AND very pretty!

Hey SpaceGhost, did you build that rig? I may be looking for a competent welder in the next few months. I could do the work myself..... but instead of having really crappy welds that break, I'd rather throw some cash at a local guy that knows what he's doing. feel free to pm me, or e-mail, or whatever

I'm likely not gonna make it there again until March or so....gotta get my TBI installed and some house-related projects done

Since there's no pics of your junk wheelin', do we still have to consider you a mall cruiser:flipoff2: Looks like your buddy likes to play with his bender. Me thinks you're getting it ready for competition;)

lol, no i was postin a pic of purgatory but it dont seem to work.... anyone wanna resize and post some pics?

Jim is damn good with that bender....he's done work for Scott Douglas of Douglas Motorsports (CORR and Desert Racing) as well as Rancho Suspension and Coleman Camping (their 2003 Explorer on display out West). I bought the 1-1/2" die for his bender, so the labor was free. :D

it sucks ass, but my closest "practice" spot is Attica and that's a 6 hour drive....I don't get enough seat time in to do the comps and have a prayer at it. Might talk myself into ERoCC in Attica this summer but I may have my link rear in by then and would have to run the top class....have to see.

the missus and I are talking about buying land in summer of 2003...maybe she'll let me build a "practice site" in the back yard...heh

Mall Cruiser....DRIVEWAY Cruiser! (Tho you can see glimpses of it in the pics above in my shots of SG!)

(Ordering Dunlops in a 55-aspect as we speak.... )
