: 4.2/4.0 motor mounts bolts

Anybody know what size they are? Need 3 of them and dont particularly wanna pull one to check it :lazy:

if i remember correctly(replaced them this summer) they are a brilliant combo of metric AND standard:mad:
if i get a chance i will check but hopefuly someone can get it to ya quicker.
Might just be easyer to pull it:flipoff2:

I think they were 3/8" bolts but that was to long ago

Don't forget, if you're doing a 4.0 into a CJ that one of the bolts is 12mm fine thread.

IU am doing a 4.2 in s YJ ;) Any difference? What 12 mm bolt?

In order to bolt up the CJ motor mounts to a 4.0 block one of the holes on the right side (pass.) of the block is tapped for a 12 mm bolt.

Since you're putting a 4.2 in a YJ, this shouldn't concern you.

3/8" bolts with 16 thread count 3/4 of an inch long.

I was just going to say that, but I'm guessing that's why you called today. I think I have a T4 for your tranny guy. Same as the T5 but if you want OD you have to pull it off the 5.
