If the shaft is from a 4-cyl. manual trans truck, the CV will bolt to the '75 up cruiser flange/e-brake drum by just enlarging the holes. The V-6 CV uses a different bolt pattern that is unique to the V-6 trucks. The e-brake drum can be redrilled to whatever bolt pattern you need, if what you have does not bolt up. From your pictures it looks like both of those shafts are from a V-6.
The length will most likely also have to be changed, as I'm sure you geussed. The CV will also need to be clearanced in order to get enough operating angle.

you may want to clearance the c/v for better angle capability - those are most likely 15 degree units and can be modified for 30 degree depending on castings- Jess

max do you have a rough length on those shafts?
I need around 24" operating length to work on this setup on my LC.

OK I just did a parts search for one of these shafts and the parts locator wants to know if it is a 4cyl W man trans or if its a 4cyl G man trans? Anyone know the difference?

hey I'd get rid of that chevy stuff in your shaft there- before it get's rid of you- seriuosly go to mini truck stuf it will live and survive - as for the machining - its a little work and requires a specially made tool to machine it - we usually get 30$ to clearance them and then a little bit to retube and make these fit the length you are running-Jess :D

Hey jess I was hoping you would chime in.
I have many questions for you.
1 do you know how long these 4cyl toy CV shafts are?
2 I am using a thin Downy toyota turbo350 adapter to a stock LC t case. I am supposed to use a nissan Z car u joint but I don't know if I can get the clearance I need with my SOA? Any ideas?
Are you familiar with this setup?
Hope to be doing buisness with ya around tax time.:D

Basically you want one from an '85 and up. I believe that those trucks used the W56 tranny, which could be what the locator was referencing.
