Prairie City SVRA
13300 White Rock Road
Rancho Cordova, CA 95670

Come down 50 towards tahoe....When you get to folsom get off on prairie city road and hang a right.
That will dead end into White Rock and hang a right.....About a mile up the road on your left hand side is the park, I think its $4 to get in now.

Any Body know anything about Jergins road? Not sure if I spelled it right though. It is out of Rescue. I work with a bunch of ol guys that are always talking about the good ol days up there. Have found it on a map and have squeezed a little info out of them but no great specifics. They say there is a good amount of rocks and that it is an old logging area. It's off of Deer Valley and Green Valley. Maybe someone else will know more.

If you are looking at going south check out Frank Rains out side of Patterson there is a cool Creek you can run but make sure no rain has come down for about two days or it will be full of water.

poorwheeler: At the Jergens cleanup we were told it was being closed for winter(day of the cleanup)... and would re-open... in spring.. (SO THEY SAY!)...

So i`m not sure of the status but I`d assume they locked the gate.... :(

--Is PC on still rain or shine ?? I wanna come check it out!

Not a lot of rocks, but some very tight technical trails if you don't mind some brush pin stripping-
Knoxville Public Lands, north of Lake Berryesa in the Coastal Range. I cut my teeth in four wheeling there in high school. Just a huge reserve in the middle of nowhere that you can use for four wheelin, ATVs, gun ranges, hunting areas, etc...
Most of the tight trails are actually motorcycle trails, but you can stuff a Jeep or buggy through them. Some really steep climbs, a lot of mud bogs, water crossings and some rocks.
Just follow the roads out of Winters all the way around Lake Berryesa to Berryesa-Knoxville Road. The road its self is fun in the winter, with numerous water crossings, it is not fit for cars (although I have pulled many cars out of there:D )
