ok I have a 2001 XJ and I noticed the other day that when I turn on the left blinker that
it blinks like normal but if I put the brake on it just stays on (it doesn't blink) I checked all
the lights and they all look fine what the hell would do this????
I do believe you need some of this:

It can be found here: http://www.kalecoauto.com/fluids.htm

Have you, or anyone else done any wiring work on the thing? Specifically, has the tail light assembly been replaced?
Also, have you tried switching the flasher switch? Just swap it with the hazzard flasher.

Man, I am just way to slow. I opened this thread just so that I could make a blinker fluid comment and it had already been done.
Damn, and you went the extra step to include the picture of the bottle. Outclassed by the mods on this board again.

the bulb might look good, but one of the ones in the back, the filiment is broken.. just go buy new bulbs, they are cheap, and if that doesnt fix it.. at least you now have some to keep around..

James is correct, the flasher/blinker system works off of resistence. this is why bulbs are often replaced in pairs.
