: ih8mud.com problems

It started for me Monday....and I'm still trying to determine what's going on....

I use IE 6 and when I connect to www.ih8mud.com only the title bar and the background show up, most times. Rarely, the page appears as normal. When I FTP in for file updates, it's fine. From home, the problem doesn't seem to exist, only from my office.

With Navigator 4.7 and Netscape 6.2, it appears normal, and quick.

ALL other pages, when hit directly, open quick and normally...only the index.html page appears to be effected. ALL the pages rely on the same CSS file.

running a TRACERT to the site shows consistent quick access...yet it seems to "stall" during loading.

...and given a couple posts on here and on the LCML, it's not just me either....any thoughts anyone? Morgan, Herb, and I have all looked and it works fine for them, so hard to duplicate.

I think that high water/mud you ran in last weekend has glazed the hard disc and it's slipping on engangement.............

go to tools - internet options - delete files.

I think your cache is full or something like that, i've had
a similar problem with IE6 from work before.

I just read a couple of the LCML's and you are not the only one having problems, most of the guys were complaining about the bulletin board not refreshing.

I was one of the ones from LCML having problems accessing ih8mud, did what morpheus suggested and it seems to work fine now

Thanks

I just reloaded an "older" version of the index page, and then updated, and right now it seems to be working fine....if anyone still has issues, post up.

Otherwise I'm gonna assume it's fixed.

My guess is something to do with a change in the META tags for the page....

it's a problem related to IE6...the cache gets buggered and confused...just do what morpeus suggests...by the way...nice product Microsoft....

I'd believe that if it happened to every website I visited, but it was only ih8mud.com.

either way, I got it to work. the cache fix did not help on my office machine, and I haven't done it at home yet, and it's working fine now....

not that I'm supporting microsoft....lol
