I am riding the titec clamp right now. It isn't the most comfortable, but it's light as hell.

I run Flites in both my mountain bikes , a SLR on one my road bikes and a Fizik on the other.I love the Flite's,the SLR is a little stiff but it is very light at 135 grams the Fizik that i also like a lot is super comfortable and narrow but a little heavier but it does take the edge off my super light , stiff alloy/carbon racing roads bike.If you need a narrow sadle and weight is a concern the Flite TT can't be beat,i was actually sorprised how comfortable it is for a light saddle(165 grams)
But if you don't have much seat time in ,you will find this sadles a little stiff

Not so worried about the weight. I'm looking for somehting a little wider then the Flite ;)

Flite- Flite- Flite........But If you can't handle it go with a WTB saddle. Can't go wrong with a WTB.

I'm riding a TFI race....Here's some reviews

http://mtbr.com/reviews/Saddle/product_22719.shtml

I like it a lot. I'm 230 and it holds me fine with minimum flex to no flex, and it has the cutout so "the boys" are happy too...I just don't know if I would spend $70 on a saddle, but since it came on my bike I didn't have to.... I would recommend it unless money's tight....

I have a WTB seat on my other bike and you'd be better off strapping a block of wood to your seat post, it's a lot softer....I will say that the WTB seats are durable though, as it's seen more than it's fair share of riding/crashes in the past few years and is still in very ridable condition....

There's alot of diffrent models of the WTB seats, some are very cheap and hard and others are pretty bling-bling and easy on the boys :D

So true. I was at the trade show a couple of months ago. they(WTB) make tons of different models of saddles at all different prices and they are super durable. Durability is a major factor when choosing a saddle.

then I stand better informed on WTB saddles.... a few years ago they didn't have much which was when I got the bike that has their saddle on it.... I'll have to look into them in the future when I am in need of a saddle....

Thanks,

Have you checked out the selle italia trans am MAX flite saddle? It is supposed to be a little widder and softer than the flite. That is one of the seats I am considering. It is only $55 at www.pricepoint.com You should look into it, although in many reviews consumers complained it was noisy.

I think I am going to splurge and go with a wtb lazer v steath or lazer v dh. The cost beween 80-90 but if I am going to ride on it everyday then it's worth it. I used to have a speed v comp and it was comfy, but it made noise and the nose came loose. It was only 30 bucks though. Let me know how those MAX's are.

no reviews at mtbr.com, bummer. the other koski contour saddle got horrible reviews. You have to ask yourself this question: If it was for sale for $105 and now it's $27, whats wrong with it?
