I've used something similar from a company called Muggy Weld. Used it to repair a hole in a cast aluminum xfer case housing, which usually is a non repairable throw away.

Seriously though, it looks like an interesting trail-repair or temporary fix. I just wonder how it holds up to pressure and chemicals. Neat idea though.
