: So when is a good time of year to go?

I would like to go wheel the hammers this year and was wondering when you guy thought the weather is best their. Thanks.

If you can wait until Feb of next year, King of the Hammers is down there....probably the best event anywhere, check it out. The weather can be pretty cold at night, but typically perfect during the day.

Yes, you can run any trail that is not part of the race course..

Anytime of the year is great at the Hammers. Just get out there and wheel.

RIGHT NOW!!! The Mojave Desert is beautiful in the Fall. Less likely to have wind and great temps.

Gets cold at night now I like spring and fall best. But no bad days really. Even nights on the summer are fun.

Honestly, anytime. Weather doesn't hold me back from going there at least 4 times a year.

It's either nice during the day and FREEZING cold at night (like now through Feb.)

or

It's hot as hell during the day and pleasant at night. (May through August)

That's how I look at it.

Its about 40 with a breeze out here as I'm typing this.
T shirt weather all day long. From now til tin Benders any weekend is great
