thr two in san jose north are 4 cyl engines.
i had the same problem about 6 months ago and i got two heads in the same day for roughly $75 each.

sat on the wrecker just a bit longer for him to produce, and he went to the pick and pull found no heads rebuild-able. He forfeited profit "?" bought a new head and will rebuild, can't be happier. thanks for the advice, nice to know I'm not alone with a gen1 quandary. P.S. My Monty sports a hearty SAS Dana 44 Eaton E locker 5.38 front, Dana 60 E locker rear same gears. with a (Y) link rear, toy leaf springs front. It's kinda Tonka and damn cool.
