I am putting the final touches on my swap and have a few questions.

There are 3 lines coming out of the fuel pump, can I plug one and have the pump still work fine?

My old PS pump was rebuilt by Lee power steering and I really like it. The pully on it is the stock Scout size, around 3 inches. The Caddy pullys are more like 4 inches. Should I swap out my smaller Scout pully for a Caddy one?

The headers are only about a 1/4 of an inch from the steering shaft, should I space the steering box out another 1/2 inch or so away from the frame(and engine)?

The rubber grommets coming out of the valve covers are gone, I believe one was for the pvc and the other was vented to the air cleaner. What can I use to replace them?

From what I recall, the third outlet on the fuel pump is a return to the tank. One of the other two is the inlet from the tank. The other is to the carb. Its been a month or two since I pulled my Caddy engine.

On the PS pump, the engine doesn't care what size the pulley is. It does care that they are square up.

On the gromets, you should be able to get them from the dealership for a couple bucks each... I did that with an 89 Camaro engine.

I am sure that you are not supposed to, but I am running the third line capped off of the fuel pump with no problems. Only till I heal up enough to put the pro-jection on it though! Be careful with clearances around that engine. When you rev mine up in nuetral it rocks the whole front of the truck and if the mounts were worn it would rock the engine right into stuff like the frame and steering shaft. These engines are awesome, have fun!
