Uhg, I can see the flames :eek: .
Just got my mostly stock 77 FJ40. Looks like half my wire harness and other bits are just GONE :eek: :( .
On a stock 77 - the hi/low beam switch - should it be floor button or a lever like the turn signal?

BTW, got manauls on order, but won't be here till later in the week. This thing wasn't on the road for like 10 years :eek:

My old 74 had it on the turn signal lever. Shoukd be the same on a 77.:skull:

If it has the newer steering column (72'&+ I think) it will have the high beam mounted on the laft side of the column, also allows you to flash people...(you gotta love doin that) Your 77' should definatly have it on the column, otherwise you would have a hole on the left part of the drivers floor... AFAIK...Good Luck:D

9/'72 and newer had it on the blinker stalk. Forward for brights, back for normal beams...

i have it on the column, but i cant flash people, i have to turn on my head lights with the pull switch, to get anything. I have a '75.

No flash??? I don't think I'd survive without being able to flash people all night long... I guess the horn works ok..:D

On col , no flash for 77.
