There's not much of the mitsubishi left, it's been a long journey to get to where it is now.

I'm in the middle of making a cage for it to stop the body getting any more battered.

Got the front half of the cage started today, this is the main roll structure done. I'm going to do all the body protection and triangulation in smaller tube.

Its a fairly conventional cage for the uk, the front hoop is normally one piece but my design will still meet the regulations here.

Very cool! With the solid LC axles it looks a lot like a 70 series LC

It's confused a few people :-) landcruiser badge on back doesn't help :D

Im doing the same to my Dads Raider, do you have pics of the steering linkage and the panhard bar, I know with the landcruisers its behined the axle, Im fighting geometry with keeping the truck low and stuffing the links and panhard and steering all in one spot.

I do but I they won't mean much as my chassis rails aren't standard, and i'm using a landrover steering box.

I think i've about finished putting tubes in the cage now, I just need to build the snorkel and finish off the mountings then i can take it off and fully weld it all.

It was built by me and a friend, that was i while ago now.i might have some build pics somewhere.

My mate owned it. I was at KORC not long ago while he was talking to you about fixing his lockers.
