Well first of all thanks to everyone that post on the websites. I was able to find out just about all the info I needed to do the conversion. I took a 1987 trooper 2 door long wheel base and put everything off of a 1991 trooper and did the swap. I changed everything from the wiring harness to the axles. I swapped in the 2.8l and changed from auto trans to stick.Everything ran great for five days. It slung a rod out the side of the oil pan. The new 3.4l HT motor came in and then that swap began. 1.6 roller tip rockers, 4.3 TBI ,Intake bored the works. I have been breaking in the engine for the last couple of days. What a difference this engine made on the performance of my trooper especially on the interstate. I do have pictures to post when I figure that problem out. I have tons of parts if you need something I be glad to pass it along.
