ready.....not even close
gonna start on it after christmas, cause Im a broke ass mofo and I dont want to wife to shoot me.

what do you think of this though, these are the parts Ive mostly rounded up

chevy 350, turbo 400, 203, cruiser case.
cruiser axles, sprung over, cut and turned (fc187), high steer,
arb front, welded rear, traction bar (fc187). 37mtrs on 2" backset wheels. rocker protection and family cage (fc187)

still need to figure out what Im gonna do for steering, and I got a few ideas for the doors and seats and things, but that is the plan as of now.

Im looking forward to starting and having it done by april or so, depending on cash flow.

butthurt ! that sounds real bad. :( ,

Come on up for the snow run anyway, you can take an open seat in my rig.

Better yet you can take my 40 and I'll drive my mini truck.

Len - the only component I dont like in the mix is the Cruiser case - a built Pig with a 350 and doubler is sure gonna strain that puppy (yup, here come the Cruiser tcase strength wars) - I would get a 205. Otherwise, the rest of the stuff will be killer.

Don - do you still have that mini truck - thought ya sold it?

I thought about that, but I already have all the stuff, and a bitchen T-Case Saver, plus about three or four spare t-cases, so I figured what the hell. But if shit starts breakin, Ill have to figure something else out quick.

I've seen pic's of fc's case saver and it is awesome - still, I dont think the internals of the case will hold up too good with all the torque, etc. - good idea to take a spare case  But you are right about getting it together and then upgrading down the road/trail.

Yeah, WeldPro over in Susanville really wanted to buy it, but I kind of flaked out on the deal. Just can't bear to part with it.

I'm with Krusty here, you have enough driveline with the FJ-55 to run a 205 behind all of that and still not be to severe on your driveline angle between the 205 and the Cruiser axle.

Spare cases be damned, changing a Tcase on the trail SUCKS ASS! Do it right now and get your $$ on the spare 3 speeds, they are still worth good money.

I guess I have to swich over to mixed drinks for a while, untill I forget about that smell. :D
