Looking at a 94 Cruser with 115K on it. the owner had EVER LAST thing done by the dealer  . But it was own by a ER DOC in KC. It has ever Thing you can have. some scuffs and dings on it and the front bumper had a dent on the Dr. Side. Drove Nice was kept inside, no leaks, ALL Time 4wd, needs 2 tires, 3 row seats, leather, there was no thing it did not have. this would be a DD for me or my wife (Kid on the way) and would like it two my 19 foot I/O boat. any input would be GREAT!!

Thanks

DAMN  are they that cheap now?

Look on the dash to the left of the steering wheel and see if there is a dial there that locks the diff's.

That is a nice feature if you ever plan on using it off road.

I wouldn't pay over 10k for mint 94 with lockers.

They've come down a ton in the last 12 mos Nolen.

This must be location specific. I have seen nothing near that price here in Arizona.

I just did a quick autotrader.com search for 94's in Arizona. Found five, the high price was 18K, the low was 12.8K, and the average was 14.9k

I paid 12k for a 93 w/lockers a couple months ago and considered myself very lucky.

Jared

As a side note, that 94 for 12.8K mentioned above is advertised as only having 56K miles-- it might be good find (it is actually in Albuquerque, BTW)

i tow a 23 foot stingray(4800 or so lbs)with no problems,you should be fine towing a 19 footer.

Brett,

Stay CLEAR of Kbb "retail price". No idea where they come up with the pricing, but is way higher than current market. All I can figure is for a used car salesmen to show you what a great deal you got.

'94 w/ 114K:

KBB Retail $15,500
KBB private party $13,385

To get a better idea of the price, take a look at edmunds. www.edmunds.com

Edmunds pricing:
dealer retail $12,300
private party $ 9,900
trade it $ 8,400

Around Austin, TX... prices are closer to to the Edmunds pricing.

One thing I noticed in "snow areas" the 4x4 goes up by $4K when it starts to snow... back down when dry! :D

My buddy just bought a 94 with 120K, loaded with lockers, etc for $9500 in Atlanta from a private seller.

Hold out for a deal...they are out there!!!

We have two (94’s) in the local paper both asking around $12000, and one (94’) asking $14,500.00 . I am sure they will sell about the $10K to 11K mark in this area, perhaps lower. . KBB is a primary used car lot tool and does little to reflect regional pricing. One trick you can do when getting ready to buy a specific vehicle, is to get your hands on a few one to two month old papers. (or just save a few in advance) Start calling the similar vehicle ads and do your own price poll. You might be surprised at what you find. The information you come up with will certainly make a difference in negotiating a fare price. Its one thing to offer a low ball price out of the blue, but another to back it up with “three similar 80’s sold this last month for $****!”
