Looking for anyone with Front 60 EB install experience. I know everyone says go with 78-79, but a late model F350 60 HP can work...I think. Problem is the short driver side. Yes, I have seen the pic/thread showing the the u-bolts sliced into the housing. I don't want springs or like the idea of slicing the housing. What I want to know is can you squeeze in a coil over shock and a custom link set up on that side in a late model 60. Has anyone done this? Looking for pics of this on an EB that isn't tubed or totally custom.

On a side note, I think I can retube that side. But I might as well pony up the bling bling for the 78-79 and avoid it.

I have seen this done to 1990 D60F, the guy used a hand band saw, put a line around the casting about 2" in and cut down to the tube but he did not cut the tube, then installed the brackets for the coil springs.I do not recommend this. steve differential eng. inc.
