I need to change the front cv axles on my 1995 montero SR and I am concerned that I will not get the proper fit of CV driveline. The LS seems to be a narrower shaft (from expereince) and the Montero Sport even narrower. Anyone have experience in this?

They are all the same thickness. The SR and Montero sport are shorter than the LS version. That is unless the LS has a manual transmission. The best thing about your SR is that you can get yours at the local Auto zone.
