I read the article in 4WD and Sport Utility that you wrote about the C-Rok Jeep Cherokee, and I was wondering about the exo cage. It looks like it is removable, and I wondered how it might hold-up off road. Any ideas or suggestions about it? I am thinking about doing an exo on my 4Runner, which is also my DD. I thought that a removable one would be pretty cool, if it is as dependable as a welded exo. Thanks for any input.

I thought about making mine removable at first too, but the biggest argument against it is: After a couple of good whacks on a rock, and a good flop, you are going to have one hell of a time taking it off,and if you get it off, you might not be able to put it back on.
