: Shortest gears for the 9.25?? The Adam Blaster 12-23-2002, 07:23 AM Hey, a friend says that he has looked on the 'net, and hasn't found any gears shorter than 4.56 for the 9.25 rear. GRMhick 12-27-2002, 01:26 AM the reason behind only having 4.56 gears, is because even with 4.56 gears, you have to grind down part of the ring gear to get the cross pin in place.. the gears are THICK. Any lower than 4.56 and you wouldnt be able to hold the axle shafts in place. I wanna know how they did 5.13's though. Garrett | |
