It would be appreciated if someone could point me to the place to get the best price on replacement stock springs or 2" lift springs for this truck. Its got the tow package stock if that helps. Thanx.

Just did my suburban, went through the same thing, what I ended up doing was have the stock springs re-arched and added an additional spring for the extra load and support, then went with a 2'' block. This way I ended up retaining the factory bushings and not the polys, which seem to destroy themselves when doing a lot of towing.

How does it ride with the re-arched spring and the overloader?

It rides really nice, you can tell it's a little stiffer but smoothes out b'cuz of the added weight from tools and such. Have a truck-vault in the back and then camping gear, Not a problem towing b'cuz I use a torsion bar set up which pulls the rear end up a little even with about 600# of tongue weight.

just installed a set of 1 ton springs on the back of my 87 suburban --i removed one spring from the pack now it has nine leafs --got 2--3 inches of lift plus better ride and handling --the sway is gone
