I am now in the process of building up a 67 EB and need some info on the power steering upgrades. I know about all the web sites, but none of them offer a change up to the full size 78-79 bronco and f-150 boxes. Is this a possible swap? I have three of these boxes as spares for my other rigs and would like to use these. the biggest problem is that the pitman arm extends the opposite way of the stock standard EB one, and if you turn it around the steering works opposite. Any suggestions?

B.C.Broncos has some info on using that box here's the link http://www.bcbroncos.com/ go to the tech tips page and go about half way down the page.
Also I'm running that box as is here's a picture.

it depends on the lift. I have a 3 1/2 lift on mine and a f-150 box and manual powersteering pitman arm worked just fine. with an f-150 box, you will probably need to move over the radiator, you will need a f-150 p/s bracket (check wildorses4x4.com), you will need a way to mount thew pump (pain in the a$$), and you will need to shorten the steering column and shorten the tie-rod. I had never done a swap like this before and it was actually not that hard, it mainly took a lot of time.

hope that helps a little

I swapped in a saganaw box and pump. Pulleys were the biggest pain for me. I wish I would have gone all the way and did the ram also. Mine still squeels like a pig all the time. AGR sucks

West Texas Off Road makes a reasonable priced Ram setup

I have a brand new rebuilt EB box with ram and hoses for sale if you are interested. I am changing plans and will need to use a scout box so the EB stuff is for sale. email me at clc900@yahoo.com
