I have a 1993 amigo. Have replaced the following. New head, new timing belt, new exgsust manifoild with new gaskets and seals. The problem. It starts and runs good idle. under load I get a popping and lost of power. or more than half pedal. seems to be worse cold, little better when warm. It is a 2.3 I have set timing. back and forth, tried to advance and retard a tooth.

Since no one else has replied, it sounds like a fuel issue to me. Have you replaced fuel filter?

yes guess I should have put that in the things replaced. new fuel filter

it sounds like a vacume problem double up on the hoses and then check up on the timing with a light
