Just got my high steer knuckles/arms from parts mike. His arms are set up to run the drag link to the tie rod. I assumed (dumb of me) that the drivers arm would be reamed for both tie-rod and drag link. Is there any advantage/disadvantage to running the draglink to the tierod instead of the steering arm?

If you are running large tie rod material (rockstomper or similar) with the 7/8" TRE there isnt enough room to put both on the passenger side arm (like factory CJ Dana 30)

It seems like I've seen pictures of people putting the DL on the top of the knuckle and the TR on the bottom...wouldn't that work?

Thats the way I run it. I use rockstomper rods with the 7/8" TRE's The drag link above the spring with a 1" stepped arm and the tie rod in the factory location. If you bend a rockstomper you are seriously get it AWN!!!!!!!!!!!!!
