FOTR (Friends of the Rubicon) is the email network/list where we plan our work days and projects. It's also Rubicon central -- a clearing house for informaion and links related to the trail.
Yes, you can get some of the info by tuning into this thread (and hopefully we get most work projects posted here because many FOTR folks are also frequent visitors of this thread). But if you want to be sure and not miss anything, subscribe to the FOTR list.
Visit here to join FOTR (free): www.delalbright.com/rubicon.htm
Or drop me an email with your name, club affiliations, and home town, and I'll help you get on the list.
Thanks, Del

I'm trying to get as many folks as possible on the Friends of the rubicon (subscribe only) email list. That's where we do the real planning for work projects on the trail. It's not a chat list (we can do that here). It's for critical info and work coordination. It's essential to me, as Trail Boss for FOTR. no dues; no bs; no banners; just us chickens working on keeping the hen house repaired. :)

Mikeswrangler:
yea, I know about gatekeeper. I was there June 7th and last thursday (I have a tuff job you know.....) and again I'll be there this thursday. :)
The important thing is that the ROC will be visiting the trail this thursday June 19 to evaluate what projects they will approve for this year, and that we can spend money on from our OHV Trust fund grant for the trail.
Little sluice bypass is first on the list. Then some potties and signs. We'll have to take a closer look at Gatekeeper.
thanks, Del
