I like to share this with everyone, in memory of Bill Morgan, a friend who recently passed away.

We talked about 4-wheelin quite a bit and how much he enjoyed the Rubicon Trail. He loved the mountains and in his younger days he was quite the Jeeper, "old school", before the days of monster tires and radical rigs.

Bill was one hell of a nice guy and we will all miss him.

The picture below was taken at the entrance of the Little Sluice. I believe it was taken sometime in the early 60s.

It is hard to heard of others losses.
My best to the family.
I recently lost my dad. It is a tough deal. I think of him every sinlge day.
Jepnedel,
He was a deputy sherrif in your area. Ive spent alot of time with him in Moke Hill. His wedding reception was at the Ledger Hotel.
My dad was Deputy Bob Bassett.
Maybe maybe not . Just seeing Moke Hill on your sig stirred up memories.

Jeez, Scratch, we all knew Deputy Bob. that's what we called him.
What a great guy -- a great man. He was well respected and still talked about today.

He and I worked together on more than one situation (I was a cop and fireman). And truth be told, many years ago, Deputy Bob helped me home from a night of celebrating a divorce that lasted a bit longer than it should have......:)

The nice thing for you and your family, I will say, is that Deputy Bob is still remembered and talked about, in fond memory.

Life is short, my friend, live it to your fullest ability.
