The axles were both built by Gearman a couple years ago. For those of you long time members these ARE the all ellusive "Massey 6060606060606060's!" ;) They are owned by my hero Steve N and currently in use by me :grinpimp:
Sillyneck 01-01-2003, 08:35 PM ohhh 30 spl :D *rains on keith's parade* :D

No, its actually Sierra Nevada.....long story...the mini mart guy wanted the sierra nevada pack for a bunch of stragglers he had, to make a full 6 pack again.
Sillyneck........Ummmmmmmmm.....Free
Gonna weld the rear up and leave the front open.....for now. Might put a lockrite in it. I just wanna go wheelin.
doctor_G 01-02-2003, 10:04 AM But Kieth, you're not worthy of HP 60's. :( :flipoff2:
I have 2 fronts and 2 rears.
Seriously though, good score!

BTW, very special thanks to Steve N and www.specialtyparts.com ;)
preach 01-02-2003, 10:52 AM Getting them "free" and "bolt-on" is pretty much cheating.
I'm pretty skeptical about the "free" part though. You musta had to do SOMEthing to get them "free". :flipoff2:
When ya going to try them out?

Cheating? Hmm, seems like a smart way to do it to me.
Hopefully be done and ready to rock by the end of the month (doing lots of other stuff too--fixing and tweaking) I was pretty hard on my rig last summer, so it needs a little love ;)

Yeah I suppose.
I am looking forward to building mine. I will be shortening the front just a bit and chopping up a rear for the hp center.
Do you have any idea of how they built the rear. I have a good plan but I am always looking to see if I missed anything before the chop saw comes out.:D

When ya going to try them out?
Let's define this free thing.
1) They are mine when I'm ready to put fix the traction/spline count (open/powerlock/skinny axles) dilemna I'm going to get them back and fix them. Otherwise they don't work for any of the 35" tire class comp. stuff I'm making now.
2) So he get's to use them for free period
If he breaks a 30 spline axle I don't care plus It'll be funny too. :flipoff2:
3) No Debbies not doing me in exchange. I live by the principal of hook me up I'll hook you up. Hint tell me who you are, start being a good customer of mine, and see what happens. What goes around comes around. For me it was a win, I got space, I get a few of the things fixed like the bad wheel bearings on one side, and it seems to have compelled Keith to extol the vitues of buying from us. Keith gets to go snow wheeling untill he can grub up enough dough to buy a Terra 60 front from me. See win/win
:flipoff2:

:flipoff2: First off Keith doesn't have a history of breaking Jeep parts on the PBB:rolleyes:
Next I'll definitely back Steve up on what he said when my locker busted in the rear and it would take 2 weeks to reclaim the warranty he welded it up for me and now its better than before
When my Tera 4to1 housing busted due to a bearing giving way on my side of the t-case and not being Tera's fault he helped me get my half broken and another buddy's half broken case working so I could get my DD on the rode again and stop stealing the wife's car for work. I installed it that night and drove it in the morning
Now is this normal for every single customer I'd say no but definitely not out of the ordinary for the guy. I've helped the dude with a lot of crap too and he's definitely helped out, hooked up, tooken care of, and worked sweet deals for a lot of people I know. He does business the way a friend does on the trail. Give a call 800-504-JEEP next time you need anything
He cant be all bad, he let me hang in his place of business afterhours drinking cheap beer till keith got there :D

The only way Keith will ever have the cash to buy a Terra 60 from you is when he sells the axles you just let him borrow :flipoff2:
Keith 01-02-2003, 09:19 PM Nope, no HP 60's.
Just 60's with arb's, 6.17s, rear disk, FF, 35 spline fr/rr, and high steer. Guess I'm a looser:(
