Yes search NAZI! I did one!
I just picked up Tix for Monster Trucks. The bill sez that they are having arena trucks. I saw them last time I went. just wanted to know if they travel with the motor circus or are they mostly locals?
How much does it take to get a truck together for a race.

when the monster trucks came through town last year I went just to see the tough trucks run. two of the four that ran where part of the traveling freak show and the other two were locals.
one of the locals was in a suburban and taco'd his front 44 on the last big jump. the other local was some yuppie in a suburban who idle'd around the whole course. he got booed ... lol
I say get a 2wd toyota for cheap and go out and FLOG it !!!

We ran a 77 gmc 1/2 ton in one of those. We bent the frame so bad that we couldn't get it back on the trailer. It finally got towed because it was an "eyesore" according to the neighbors. We had a lot of fun with it even though we spent more on parts for it than we did on the truck.

Jeff Mello who is the 2002 Pro Rocks Stock mod champ does arena racing, and is very successful at it. Him and his wife win all the time.

I have ran about 10 different times. Our club FAR-N-GONE has run about 50 combined. We have had pretty good success (top 5 most of the time) We have had to chase down the promoter a couple of times to get our money. The monster truck guys told me that they chased one 50 miles. Other than that it is an absolute blast. Winner usaully takes $500 to $1500 for the event.
