How do you minimize this? I realize that less height would help, but that is not an option right now. My rig is set up as listed in my sig. FYI, I do not run a sway bar in rear, but do run the stock sway bar with JKS Discos in front while on the street.
I read while searching through the archives, if the track bar and drag link are set up properly, you will get minimal body roll while turning the wheel. Since I am relocating my TB tomorrow...Is there a magic angle or angles to look to achieve with TB/DL?
Right now my DL is sitting at +10* in relation to my TR going knuckle to knuckle. (High Steer D44 with inverted "T" design) DL mounts to a hole in the pass. side Chevy 7/8" TRE and joins up to a stock Wagoneer flat pitman arm.
The TB and drag link should be parallel to minimize bump steer, but I can't see how that would impact body roll. How about some RS9000 shocks turned up when you're on the road?

The general rule is the stiffer the spring the less body roll. But then by doing that you lose articulation.

first of all who cares:flipoff2: ! but second of all there are the things that are called sway bars they come stock from the factory and u can buy extensions:flipoff2: ! i don't use those gay sway bars but i know how to drive!:D
good luck

A stiffer sway bar at the front could help. W/ disconnects it wouldn't affect articulation off-road. There are lots of race car applications that could be made to work.
The TJs with tight lockers [and especially spools] in the rear tend to have some weird handeling quirks. Extreem cases can actually lift a front tire while turning sharp corners at low speeds (like low riders w/ pnumatics). This is different from body roll, but it might be what you're talking about. If so, a selectable locker at the rear (ARB) should cure your problems.

First off, No, I do not have any problems with lifting a tire since I installed my long arm suspension. Rig corners decent, even with the tall lift. Only reason I was asking about body roll is because I read a thread in the archives recently that mentioned that extra body roll while cornering had something to do with too steep a Drag Link/Track Bar angle. While I was in the process of going high steer and relocating the TB/DL/TR anyway I figured I would ask about this as it did not exactly make sense to me. Sounds like a beefed up front TB with discos is the way to go.
And Second, Stoneyxj,:flipoff2: Right back at ya;) :D I care!!:D

Doesn't make sense to me, either. And, you need to get a beefed up SWAYbar, not panhard (track) bar. Addco makes them, as do Sway-a-Way and others. Another option is to look at your shocks. Edledbrock IAS shocks, while not long enough (maybe the new remote reservior advertised by 4WPW) work very well for this. I think any of the high performance shock makers like Bilstein should be able to help you if you are willing to buy one of thier 7100 and up series dampers.
