I work with somebody that has a 1972 1 ton Ford van growing out of his parents back yard. He is giving me the rear axle for free...all I have to do is remove it.
I went and looked at it sunday and found out the van is indeed growing out of the ground...but still in the germination stage. I managed to confirm the rear axle is a d60ff.
Due to space limitations the only measurement I could get was the inside to inside distance from the backing plates which came out to 59".
Is this thing worth taking the time and trouble to pull and what's it worth. I'm thinking it might end up in the back of my 98 TJ in a year or so.
The door plate listed "E33GHF43748"
105 4 E330 4482 G C3 72
105" Wheelbase, color code 4, thought it would have been E350 and not E330 for 1 ton, 1972,,,the other numbers I have no idea.
Any help would be appreciated
