I'm looking for some pics of a crew cab, cab on a blazer or a short bed frame, I have seen the pics before and I can't find them:confused: ,

I built a cab on a blazer frame back in high school it was cool.Sorry don't have any pics but,Just picture a truck with a real short WB.I have always wanted to put a crew cab on a sub frame or longbox frame.I don't think you could fit a crew cab on a shortbox frame.The rear tire would be into the rear door.The sub has a WB of 129" and the rear wheel opening is only about 3" behind the rear door.The shortbox truck has a wb of 119".This would put the tire right under the rear door.Blazin:D

If you were to put it on a frame w/20" less WB you will have to do major surjury to the rear of the cab and rear doors.

Here is one shortened to fit a std Short Box.

I like that ultra-short box look on the yellow rig. The perfect tow rig, IMO!

The one I saw had a tube bed and was either a SB or a Blazer frame.

It wouldn't work on a short wb frame. The tires would be into the back doors. It would work on a suburban or longbox frame. Notice how short the bed is in front of the tire on the yellow truck. I believe that is a long box frame
