I posted this on the Off-road.com BBS, and got no responce from anyone, so I thought I would try here.
Okay, I'v got a '84 GM 2.8L v6 in my '88 Samurai and it runs good... for now :eek: Anyway, I think I've got the vac. adv. hose (the one that runs from the dist. to the carb) in the right area on the stock carb, but want to make sure. Where does the hose go on the stock carb. on a '84 GM 2.8L v6? I have it on the back of the carb, I think there was only one vac. hose going back there? I also plugged all the emissions crap up on the carb/engine, so hope that doesn't make it run like $hit!?!?! Also, could I put my temp gauge in the hole where the all the emissions lines pluged into (see attached pic, its to the right of the Rad. hose... has red dot on top) It screws right into the intake, it think it would work out?
