This maybee dumb to some but I looked and havent found an answer A bud has a 95 Chevy 1/2 ton 2wd truck 350 auto,3.73 gear according to the paper work it also has the so called gm posi.
Now the rear is making some bad clicking. and he refuses to drive it. and wants me to take a better look what am I getting into is there a known problem with the rear, a fluke or??? thanx for any suggtestions

change the fluid,refill and use posi additive.

I havent personnaly heard it yet but do you think thats all it is??

Probably a 10Bolt GovLoc. A guy here in town had one grenede, but, I never heard why. I don't know that much about them. He replaced it with a std limited slip.

I told him if I have to remove it from the truck bleed brakes etc.
$300. bone and he pays for parts so I guess it relly doesnt matter what the problem is Im just trying to get afeel for whats in there. thanx and keep it coming

and you will have the cover off......check for chunks if nothing, button it up and refill. don't forget the posi additive.
