BAJG are you going up the trail that's on the left just before the falls ? I heard that trail was made longer and alot HARDER ,maybe winch only. That was from a guy with 38's and f&r lockers on a jeep. I watched him go up a 4' waterfall dragin the rear up the rocks( different trail though).:jeep:

coachgeo3 your looking at about a 2 - 2.5 hr drive from Youngstown to the falls. They are right outside of Scottdale, if you want to look at a map. BAJG do you have anyone riding shot gun? I'm not going to try the trail to the left before the falls. But will go on most of the other trails. What time are you meeting at the farm were you parked the trailers at. Are you parking at the same farm ?

badassjeepguy

Well with 33's and a locker I think the 4runner is still not up to going on the trail yet. Maybe with some 35's or 36's and some gear I would try it. I think I will just video that one for now. The rest of the trails mite be doable though.

I want to ring in here.
I'm not trying to be a dick, but if you think there isn't
Hard Core wheeling at Wellsville, you're nuts.
Have you been to Scooby Doo, Chicken Coupe(sp), along the RR tracks, or the trail that drops you off along about four different power lines? I'm not even sure if a truck or jeep can go up/down some of the stuff. Someone sure is though, cause there are trails going up and down the stuff. And, yea, I know that some of the stuff is buggy trails, but that is how alot of the trails start.
I will totally agree that in general there is some easy stuff,
but there are hills there that I would love to see you try.

Ill be gettn it with ya..... as much as a daily driver can affor to anyway....

Ill either meet you at Eatnpark and then use someones cell to call scott to let him know whats up. If I'm running late then Ill call scott from a pay phone and he said he would help get me to da right place.

this looks to be a 2 1/2 hour drive for me. Only thing I use to drive 2 1/2 hours for was the Rubicon.

Oh...... drivers be aware..... my dog walks the trail around my rig... so dont run him over ok..... he is a good trail dog.... usually its not a problem. Are there off road motorcyclist in the area of Crickfalls? They way they zip in and out..... if so then I'll keep the dog in the Jeep. All hundred or so pounds of him.

Dont' make such a big deal of the Rubicon less ur talkin bout the scenery. In a stock vehicle u can run the Rubicon! granted ur bypassing lots of stuff but... as much as I love it... cept for allllllll the hard core stuff... its not that bad. It's best done in three relaxing days. That makes it a nice trip with friends.

What time does EatnPark open for breakfast? I gotta have breakfast and nothin around here opens as early as Ill be leaving!

Coach, You need a winch to do the hard stuff at creek falls.

AS for wellsville, we really didn't get to the very hard stuff. Heck I made everything in 3 wheel drive... It couldn't have been that hard.

Next trip we go to the big hill they are talking about. I forgot how to get to it. Or we would have done it too.

Nah.. I need a some one who is a welder/ fabber, I got a winch and the start of a winch mount set up. That way I can install my winch! I got an 8000lb cheapy Ramsey REP... and a snatch block.... all ya need right.... :)

I'll trade em a 12000 lb winch that needs a new motor ($100 part) to fab me up a winch mount... and do a few other weld fixes, and fabs!

did u leave before I went up? wellll duhhhhhh guess so since ur asking..... I know ..I know...... go ahead adn say it... :) "here's ur sign stupid!"

as to fabbing... I got a winch reciever mount I want to refab to where it it sits on top of the front bumper instead of out front of it., yet still be usable in the rear reciever. Hey... Im a gymnast... I like Flexabitlity.... I got brain fart ideas on how to do it.

Besides that... I need to weld up a whole in my oil pan, redo a bracket on my skids so they can be remounted, see how to deal with the way my gas tank skid is rubbing my rear pumpkin... minor shit.... that causes major problems.
