Hey rudezuk, just wondering if you feel a little tipsy with the 37's? I haven't baught mine yet cause have to wait until I get paid, but the only thing I am worried about is maybe being a little tipsy. I should have about the same width as you and probably about the same trave and a little less lift. Just wondering if you are having any regrets or any probs with them? Will ya let me know, thanks man. Oh yeah, how is the 1.6 16v doing with them? Still got any power? :emb:

Yeah i still have power...it def changed! But i ordered the Sumo gears so that will change back....
What are you running for springs....Waggy's have alot more flex than the YJ's do...that and the width make it pretty damn stable...It is hard to lift a tire when wheeling..this was just playing around... But as far as the tires to they kick A$$!!!!!

I should have the shaffer coil kit at my door in a couple weeks(been waiting about 3 1/2 months so far.........). I think the coils are 150 lbs. I am pretty sure your springs are a little more stable than my coils will be, but I am not to worried about that though. Just wanted to know if you had any probs with stability, thanks for the info!

Hmm... I'd believe that. We cut the small lugs out of the boggers (37") on my friends Sammy, and they sure seemed a lot softer than the 35x14.50s that most of my friends run. If you'd like, I can mail you one of the lugs we cut off the 37s so you can check for yourself. I was bored, so I kept a few. :D

Fawk the Boggers, they suck in Tellico. And they are too stiff. Only good place for a bogger in in mud or on slick rock.

Go SX's. my 38's flex fine, and work in all terrain.

I have run sx's, radials, TSL's, Mud TA's......all in all i think the best ones would have been the 33" TSL Radials that i ran....they hooked up on anything...and at 8psi they were pretty damn flexy....But as far as a bigger tire...I really like these 37's, they are softer than the sx's and if you can put up with the noise on the road then they perform very well in the rocks (where i spend all of my time)...
The one of the roll over was with my 33" boggers....I hated them, hard as a rock.....anything below 7psi and the bead was coming off!

I think it also has something to do with terrain as well. You run slick rock, Orange is an East coast Tellico guy. SX's will work better in that situation.

I loved my 35" Boggers for the Mud, hated them on WET rock.
My SX's I havn't found a bad situation. Good on road, rock, mud.......side hills......flex well, bite well.

Its not just about the tire. Conditions have alot to do with it.

We cut out all the small lugs on the rears, and EVERY OTHER small lug in front... should be interesting - but he hasn't had time to 'wheel it yet, since he's moving from Memphis to Charolette he's a bit busy of late.

Interesting thing about using a sawzall on tires - It doesn't really matter if you use a metal or wood blade. Neither one cuts until it gets HOT, then either one works about as well as the other.

Here's a pic of the Sammy with the cut boggers:

I agree with ya Shane..I was there when you rolled....I hated the Boggers I had...no side control...
I swapped out for TSL Radials for now..got to get Yota Axles and taller tires with this Sumo t-case....
I like the way Dave Hickman's Jeep worked with his tall cookie cutter Boggers though....I am sooooo confused..lol

We're giving this set of gears another test tomorrow..will have a report soon as we get back.....and your gears are going out when the next load of mail goes...Monday is a non-shipping day...
