FJ60 Emissions Questions??? [Archive]

I need a picture of any 2F motor with the air pump hoses visible. I replaced the power streering pump and Air pump and want to make sure the air pump hoses go back where they belong. Thanks,

No pictures, but it ain't that hard. The inlet to the smog pump gets its air from the air filter. It pumps air into the air injection rail. On the air injection rail (on top of the engine on the drivers side) there is a "can" about 2" in diameter. It has a hose fitting on it. Hook up the air pump here. If you can't tell which is inlet and which is outlet, simply run the vehicle. Inlet sucks, Outlet blows.
