Has anyone out there installed a Hypertech Stage 2 Chip in a 1990 Gmc fullsize Jimmy or Chevy Blazer (with 5.7)? If so did you notice any difference ? I'm thinking of installing one in my Jimmy but is it worth $168 ?

I know someone who did this and install a cat back system on a 91 2wd sub at the same time. He said it made a noticable difference when he was pulling his boat. Not sure if it's cuz the chip or the cat back.

Might try www.fastchip.com first...........Ed Wright custom burns chips for YOUR combination rather than an off the shelf chip like a Hypertech. Cost comparable if not cheaper too.
