Chewbacca 01-11-2003, 12:13 AM lookin good!!!
the price seems right too...now 'kit' means a 'kit' for one wheel right, not for 4 wheels??
FatA$$ Toyota 01-11-2003, 01:38 AM The post says it comes with ring"S"
I would guess all 4 wheels.
Also, Bobby, if a kit is 4 wheels, how much would you charge for a 5th one(spare rim)???
flimmy 01-11-2003, 07:42 AM I would say it's for one wheel, only because it is very close to Rockstompers price. But Bobby's has FREE  shipping. And you know that these kits aren't lite. btw I love my Longfields Thanks Bobby :D
Longfield 01-11-2003, 08:25 AM Guys yes it is for ONE wheel only. These are a good price but not that good sorry. There not painted so you can paint them any color.

Longfield 01-18-2003, 03:20 PM DSI, Right now we are up to our necks with the 15"s & 16"s beadlocks. We'd like to see a little more demand for the 17"s before we start making them later. As soon as they are out we'll let you guys know with a new post on the vendors board.;)

proffitt'scruisers 01-29-2003, 06:04 PM Do these cone like the rockstompers? Someone said you rolled flatstock on the inner bead to prevent this.

GaryGreco 02-10-2003, 11:25 AM Let me get this straight, the ring welds on the outer part of the wheel .
Then the tire is installed with the outer bead outside the orignal wheel lip, which now has a flat plate or ring with 24 holes that the bead will seat against and then the outer ring is put on and tightened down clamping the the bead to the welded on ring of the wheel?
Hmmmm...okay sounds like one of those why didn't i think of that things......lol :D
Ok now will this work on both sides of the wheel or just the outer ?
Gary
Longfield 02-10-2003, 01:46 PM Well Gary, you are right on the money about how the beadlocks work. People have been known to put beadlocks both outside AND inside. Although it very rare. Glad to see that guys are understanding how beadlocks work Thanks for the question. Bobby:)
GaryGreco 02-10-2003, 05:27 PM Thats what i thought, runing them on the inside too would be a pain mount but a lot of guys roll that inside bead when turning.
But then the centering of the tire would be pretty tricky if you used both inner and outer wouldn't it?
I mean the inside bead of the rim centers it with just the outside beadlock , but unless there is a pretty good size lip protruding around the inner part of the flat stock ,which i dont see you don't have a way to center it. ...do you?
Of course that would make the cost double as well, but the fact that you could run damn near flat and keep yer tire on the rim ,just bitchin as hell...:D
thanks for the info Bobby
Gary
