its got alot of stuff ill probably change later that i done because of lack of funds but so far it has worked awesome and no problems other that i cant steer the damn thing with both hubs locked on the rocks. Gonna have to buy hydro assist. but for now ill just use one front wheel. Haha kinda wierd that i gotta spool in the front and a detoit in the back but thats what you get when swapping and buying stuff cheap. Hope i dont get reamed to bad here it is.

the pics on the ramp are the only ones with no driveshaft and shocks, because i was measuring for them. look at the pic on the rock, shocks and front shaft are in on those. the drag link is strait. that is the panhard bar (stabalizes the front suspension left to right)thats bent. and they are bent from the factory on full size fords. that is the factory one from the 74 the axles came out of. and that is an aluminum i beam that the ramp is made out of. I had it already so why spend money on steel? just to clear things up a bit.

My turd.

1986 E350 4x4 on 37" TSL's, 7.5litre 460 kingpin 60 front, HD 60 rear, bought it with the lift it has on it so I don't know the specs.

Some paint, bed liner new power steering, a wrap around rear bumper so I could cut away the rust instead of trying to fix it.

Scored the tires for $300.00

best 3K ever spent. Drove it from Reno to San Diego and back last weekend.

Yah, not much, but she does ok. Just the usual 6'' lift, 35's, 4.10's. Damn do D28's suck. Can't wait until I get time/money to do the axle/engine swap.

Yes, I'm aware I have one hell of a nasty frame flex lol.

Thanks man... It's nothing special right now. But, she's fun enough for me until I can afford to build a 460 and some 1tons!!! Anyways, it's a mildly built 351M on 125 shot of nitrous. C6 with a B&M Transpak. An NP203 converted to part time. 9" rear with a Detroit locker. D44 front with a welded diff and chromoly axle shafts. The tires are 39.5" Boggers with Yukon 5.13 gears. That's about it for specs. I have videos of her in action on my website: http://www.gouletfilms.com

you would think that, i live in PA and we get lots of snow aswell, ive pulled/flipped 3 trucks over that were in accidents in the past 2 years with d60's in the front, asked the guys "well what ya gunna do with the truck" and right away they say put the axles in my jeep (we got jeep nuts up here).... way too many people take the 60 as gold and hate to part with them, cheapest i find them are $1,800 for one that burned up in a fire needed all new bearings, seals, gears and i didnt wanna chance the housing being weakend due to the extream heat

The white Highboy was an Intervention!! it was owned buy a mullet wearing meth head who had no concept of steering or suspension frames trashed from all the hacked up shit done to it the truck has a 390 and a C6 that are in awesome condition (I rebuilt both last year for the previous owner) and a divorced 203 it also has 3" duals with crossover and 40 series flowmasters which will find its way over to its new frame the truck is a Ranger Explorer with factory A/C that is all there and works. the truck is gonna be stock height with 35" BFG's I call it "Casper" because of all the scary shit done to it

The 2000 Superduty was my Towrig until I got my 2005 Cummins its a damn good truck (V-10 6speed) and currently just sits at my house making the occasinal dump run . It's also been to Moab and done Hells Revenge and Fins and Things

The 89 f-350 ..... Booger is its name and it fits for many reasons I bought it for the 60 front to do an SAS on my 98 burb but the truck runs so good that I can't justify cutting her up. But the frames trashed on this one too so eventually it'll go under the knife

The 71 F-100 ........ no name yet but this truck will probaly get the 60 front and sterling rear from the booger......maybe even the fuel injected 460 from the booger as well as the 38" boggers and power sterring unit from Casper

I also have 5 parts trucks at my house as well in various stages of completenes.........Is that alot of Blue Ovals for a Die Hard GM guy???

Just getting started on this. Plan is to build a truggy out of it: 76 F150 with 360(haven't measured stroke yet to see if when it was rebuilt if they made it a 390)/C6/203. Have a 205 to twin stick and install, then gonna shorten the wheelbase, boatside it, shackle flip, install 4" springs up front, cut the fenders and run some 35-36's for now. Eventually I want to cage it, 4 link it, and either rockwell 2.5's or 1 ton's.

Yeah its a turd . The spindle is bent on the passenger side so badly that the axle shaft wont go back in ( I had to cut the stub shaft with a torch to remove the spindle) the only thing on this truck thats salvageable is the Body engine ,trans, T-cases, rear axle and tires and wheels (which were brand new) but the rest is fawking trashed . oh and it came with a set 20" wide weld wheels with 15" backspacing!! with 39.5 boggers mounted on them this setup is what bent the spindles on the frontend

Its really weird big bucks were spent on on this thing in some areas and and then some hacked together shit right next to it

How are the Alloy USA shafts holding up?
I have 36" Iroks and a Aussie Locker on/in my D44.

I only do mud, but plan on stepping up to 38" tires....
Don't think the stock shafts will work (taking it easy now on 36s).

Good so far, I don't worry about them a bit. 38's would be pushing it, but if you only do mud and are easy on it the Alloy's might do the job. They do have a good warranty, and seem to be of high quality for the price.

78's had both round and square. The 77's had round and when Ford went to the changes in 78 the used up all the left over round part they had. Most rounds went on F-250s + F-350s since they were mainly work trucks. The F-150 received the newer square headlight door. When the round headlight doors were used up they started putting square headlight doors on everything.

By the third quarter of 78 all trucks were receiving square headlight doors.... even Customs.

In 78 you could order a Custom and RPO the XLT trim package and you would receive the square headlight doors as part of the package. A dealer could order all of his Customs with square headlights if he wanted to. There is no hard rule as to what models will or will not have round headlights in 78.

I haven't been around a lot lately, Uncle Sugar has seen to it that I spent 29 of the last 36 month in Iraq & Afghanistan. Before my last deployment, I dropped the rig off at my buddy Brent's shop (Trailworks Off Road Equipment) to have the 3 speed stak installed & the wheelbase lengthened, told him to take his time,(what the hell, I was on a government funded nine month vacation in sunny Iraq, not like I was going be trail riding for a while anyway) I spoke with him a few times while I was over there & we discussed a lot of stuff I've had in mind for the rig when I got home, but for the time being the T-case upgrade & spring flip would have to do. I was really just expecting to pick it up with my new case & hit the woods. What I didn't know at the time , for the last couple of years, he had picked a soldier's rig who was coming home to "pimp it out" & kick in some freebies as his way of saying thanks for your service.evidently I was his soldier for 2008. I wasn't expecting the seats, console, shifter, traction bar, new bumpers, or the dovetail job (I told him to just hack out the wheelwells for tire clearance). They even painted it (He said it was his 1st camo paint job, I think he pulling my leg, it turned out way too good for a 1st time effort). I don't have any action pix YET....but will this coming weekend.
