Flame me...Tell me to go to the BB...

I have a:rainbow: tuning question.

I decieded to drive the Scout at lunch and get some seat time on it. Well it is running like shit. Missing or loading up on a cylinder or two.

Things that are new:
Plug wires.
Cap and rotor.
coil.
Plugs.
Fuel filter.
Fuel Pump.

Things that I just 5 minutes ago checked:
firing order.OK.
plug connections at cap and plugs.OK.

I guess the last thing that I need to know is should I fiddle the timing by hand to try to get it closer or see if that makes the diff?

Also what are the connections to the coil...distributor goes to + or -?

And Ballast block goes to + or -.

Flame on bitches:flipoff2:

and thanks for your help:rolleyes:

Dunno.. had similar problems on Michelle's 800.. seemed like it'd fouled a fairly new plug..

I was getting ready to change out the plugs when we took it wheelin'.

Funny.. no more miss after flogging it all day.

Answer: Your Scout's pissed you don't drive it enough - or just pissed at being stuck on pavement.

:flipoff2:

That said.. what's your timing at now?

Tom:
That is what I was hoping...that I could flog it around at lunch and have it "blow" itself out. No dice yet though.
